Overview

About Turing:

Turing is one of the world’s fastest-growing AI companies accelerating the advancement and deployment of powerful AI systems.

Turing helps customers in two ways: Working with the world’s leading AI labs to advance frontier model capabilities in thinking, reasoning, coding, agentic behavior, multimodality, multilinguality, STEM and frontier knowledge; and leveraging that work to build real-world AI systems that solve mission-critical priorities for companies.

Role Overview:

We are looking for Python Experts to manage the technical integrity and quality control (QC) of AI-generated code samples and datasets. You will be responsible for ensuring that all assets meet strict structural, technical, and execution standards before they are finalized for deployment.

What does day-to-day look like:

  • Structural Integrity: Synchronize test environments using Docker and Shell scripting to match master configurations.
  • Folder Sanity & Hierarchy: Perform asset inspections to ensure directory schemas (including environment, solution, and test folders) are followed exactly.
  • Code Hygiene & Auditing: Audit Jupyter notebooks and Python files to remove redundant imports and "scratchpad" code, ensuring a "Golden Answer" standard.
  • Validation & Testing: Execute Pass@4 analysis on Gemini 3 Pro and conduct trajectory audits to identify and resolve execution failures.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Coordinate with STEM Experts to resolve technical discrepancies and manage rework cycles.
  • API & Workflow Integration: Utilize FastAPI for internal tool development and managing the flow of data between repositories and tracking sheets.
  • Asset Management: Standardize, rename, and upload finalized ZIP assets to designated repositories and tracking sheets.

Requirements:

  • Core Python: Strong proficiency in Python with a focus on writing clean, production-grade code.
  • Data Expertise: Proven experience in data wrangling (cleaning, transforming, and restructuring datasets) and data creation for AI benchmarking.
  • Web Frameworks: Solid experience with FastAPI for building and maintaining high-performance internal APIs.
  • DevOps Basics: Experience with Docker and Shell scripting (.sh) for environment syncing.
  • Testing Frameworks: Familiarity with Python testing suites (e.g., pytest) and auditing agent trajectories.
  • Data Management: Precision in managing complex file hierarchies and tracking links across internal repositories.

What We Look For :

  • Precision over speed: A high level of attention to detail regarding technical metadata and directory schemas.
  • Critical Thinking: Ability to distinguish between "Justified Failures" and new technical issues that require escalation.

Perks of Freelancing With Turing:

  • Work in a fully remote environment.
  • Opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI projects with leading LLM companies.

Offer Details:

  • Commitments Required: At least 4 hours per day and minimum 20 hours per week with overlap of 4 hours with PST. (We have 3 options of time commitment: 20 hrs/week, 30 hrs/week or 40 hrs/week)
  • Employment type  : Contractor assignment (no medical/paid leave)
  • Duration of contract : 3 months; [expected start date is next week]
  • Location : India, Pakistan, Nigeria, Kenya, Egypt, Ghana, Bangladesh, Turkey, Mexico

Evaluation Process (approximately 150 mins) :

  • One round of technical interviews
