Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Video Annotator to label, tag, and review video data used for training machine learning and artificial intelligence models. The role involves identifying objects, actions, events, movements, and other visual elements in video footage with a high level of accuracy and consistency.
The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail, patience, basic computer skills, and the ability to follow annotation guidelines carefully.
Key Responsibilities
- Watch and analyze video clips frame by frame or segment by segment.
- Annotate objects, people, vehicles, actions, movements, scenes, or events according to project requirements.
- Draw bounding boxes, polygons, key points, lines, or segmentation masks where required.
- Label video content accurately using annotation tools.
- Review and correct annotations to ensure quality and consistency.
- Follow detailed project guidelines and client instructions.
- Maintain productivity and accuracy targets.
- Report unclear cases, tool issues, or data quality problems to the team lead.
- Work with quality assurance teams to improve annotation accuracy.
- Handle sensitive or confidential video data responsibly.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience using annotation tools such as CVAT, Labelbox, Supervisely, V7, Scale AI, or similar platforms
- Degree or certification in Multimedia, Graphic Design, Film Production, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree is a plus.
- Good attention to detail and observation skills.
- Basic computer and internet skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and annotation guidelines.
- Good written communication skills.
- Comfortable working with repetitive tasks.
- Ability to meet deadlines and maintain accuracy.
- Previous experience in data annotation, video labeling, image annotation, or AI
Offer Details:
- Commitments Required: at least 4 hours per day and minimum 30 hours per week with 4 hours of overlap with PST.
