Role Overview:
In this role, you will be working on projects to help fine-tune large language models (like ChatGPT) using your strong law education background, analytical thinking, and English comprehension skills. The ideal candidate should have the ability to read, summarize, and break down large content into smaller logical blocks, conduct research online, validate claims made in content through online research, and work with the LLM (Large Language Models) to solve puzzles! The projects will also help you learn how to leverage AI to be a better analyst. This is your chance to future-proof your career in an AI-first world!
What You'll Do Day-to-Day:
- Solve complex legal and logical reasoning problems to evaluate and improve the performance of LLMs in legal contexts.
- Analyze statutes, case laws, and legal scenarios for accuracy, logical consistency, and alignment with legal principles.
- Summarize legal documents or rulings, and validate their interpretations using legal databases and research techniques.
Requirements:
- Qualification: Law degree (LLB/LLM), or currently pursuing the final year of LLB.
- Strong understanding of legal terminology, case law, statutes, and legal interpretation.
- Excellent analytical and legal research skills.
- Fluent in English with strong comprehension and communication abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in roles such as: Legal Associate, Paralegal, Law Clerk, Legal Researcher, etc.
- Familiarity with tools like LexisNexis, Westlaw, or online legal databases is a plus
- Proficiency in legal writing, logical deduction, and statutory interpretation.

Offer Details:
- Hours committed: At least 4 hours per day and minimum 20 hours per week with 4 hours of overlap with PST.

Evaluation Process:
- Shortlisting based on qualifications and relevant legal work experience.
- Shortlisted candidates will be sent an automated analytical challenge (approximately 30 minutes).
- Candidates who clear the challenge will proceed to a manual interview round.
