Role Overview
The Engineering Manager (EM) will be responsible for driving end-to-end delivery across multiple environments, ensuring timelines, quality, stakeholder communication, and execution discipline are maintained. This role will coordinate across PMs, QA, frontend, backend, data, and client-facing teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and with the expected quality.
The Engineering Manager will act as the central owner for delivery planning, risk management, issue escalation, resource coordination, and release readiness.
What does day-to-day life look like?
- Own end-to-end delivery for assigned environments and ensure commitments are met
- Create and manage delivery plans, timelines, trackers, and milestones
- Align cross-functional teams (frontend, backend, QA, data, automation, PM) on priorities and dependencies
- Track progress daily, identify delays early, and take corrective actions
- Break down projects into phases with clear ownership and timelines
- Manage risks, blockers, and bottlenecks; drive escalations and resolutions proactively
- Coordinate with stakeholders and provide regular updates on progress, risks, and trade-offs
- Ensure QA, data quality checks, automation, and documentation are complete before release
- Conduct go/no-go reviews and ensure release readiness with all critical issues resolved
- Track delivery metrics (timelines, defects, utilization, risks) and drive continuous improvement
Required skills
- 8+ years of strong project and delivery management experience
- Ability to manage multiple projects and cross-functional teams simultaneously
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience with delivery planning, risk management, and escalation handling
- Strong understanding of QA, engineering, and release processes
- Ability to drive accountability and execution across teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with project tracking tools such as Jira, Asana, or similar
Preferred skills
- Experience managing SaaS, workflow, enterprise, or RL environment projects
- Familiarity with frontend, backend, QA, automation, and data workflows
- Experience with resource planning and capacity management
- Understanding of delivery metrics, harness reports, and quality dashboards
- Experience working with global or client-facing teams

Offer Details:
- Commitments Required: At least 4 hours per day and minimum 20 hours per week with overlap of 4 hours with PST. (We have 3 options of time commitment: 20 hrs/week, 30 hrs/week or 40 hrs/week)
