About Turing
Turing is one of the world’s fastest-growing AI companies, accelerating the advancement and deployment of powerful AI systems. Turing helps customers in two ways: working with the world’s leading AI labs to advance frontier model capabilities in thinking, reasoning, coding, agentic behavior, multimodality, multilinguality, STEM, and frontier knowledge; and leveraging that work to build real-world AI systems that solve mission-critical priorities for companies.
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Fullstack Developer to build user-facing applications, APIs, and integrations on top of LLM infrastructure. You will work across the frontend and backend to turn model inference capabilities into reliable, scalable product features, with a strong focus on Python, Node.js/TypeScript, modern frontend frameworks, and GCP.
What does day-to-day look like
- Build and ship end-to-end web applications spanning frontend, backend services, and APIs.
- Integrate LLM inference endpoints using REST/gRPC, streaming responses, SSE, or WebSockets.
- Develop scalable backend services using GCP services such as Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Firestore/Cloud SQL, and GCS.
- Build asynchronous workflows involving job queues, webhooks, and long-running inference tasks.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and DevOps teams on deployment, monitoring, reliability, and application performance.
- Design and maintain integrations with relational and NoSQL databases and external services.
Requirements
- Strong software development experience with Python and Node.js/TypeScript.
- Hands-on frontend development experience with React, Next.js, or similar modern frameworks.
- Strong understanding of API design, including REST APIs, streaming/SSE, WebSockets, and/or gRPC.
- Experience integrating LLM APIs or model inference endpoints into production applications.
- Experience with Docker, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and relational/NoSQL databases.
Perks of Freelancing With Turing
- Work on cutting-edge AI projects with leading foundation model companies
- Collaborate on high-impact work at the frontier of LLM evaluation and reasoning
- Remote, flexible opportunities with global teams
