Role Overview:
We are looking for highly proficient multilingual content specialists to design realistic, context-rich scenarios and generate high-quality data for training next-generation AI systems. This role focuses on creating high-quality, user directive and corresponding outputs in the target language, while ensuring alignment with structured guidelines. This is a non-technical role suited for candidates with strong language skills and attention to detail.
What does day-to-day look like:.
- Create and refine natural, high-quality queries in Japanese.
- Write expected outputs (in Japanese) that reflect correct and fluent responses.
- Translate key components into English to support internal validation workflows.
- Collect and reference supporting sources to ensure queries are grounded and verifiable.
- Follow structured guidelines to ensure consistency, quality, and alignment across all generated data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to iterate on outputs and improve data quality.
Required Qualifications:
- Multilingual capabilities are mandatory (English and Japanese): Ability to read and write in English and Japanese with a high degree of comprehension skills.
- 2+ years experience with content writing, translation or localization.
- Ability to follow structured guidelines and work within defined workflows.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or undergraduate in Engineering, Literature, Journalism, Communications, Arts, Statistics, or a related field. We are open to candidates who do not have a Bachelor's degree but have experience in the area.
- Experience creating datasets for LLMs (prompt writing, SFT, RLHF, eval benchmarks, red teaming, QA).

Offer Details:
- Commitments Required : at least 4 hours per day and minimum 20 hours per week with 4 hours of overlap with PST.
- Engagement type : Contractor assignment/freelancer (no medical/paid leave)
