Role Overview:
We are seeking a senior legal professional to lead and guide a Pod of 15–20 team members in developing, evaluating, and refining high-difficulty, expert-level tasks related to the work of lawyers. The role requires strong legal expertise, sound judgment, and the ability to ensure outputs are technically accurate, practical, and aligned with professional legal standards.

Role Description:

• Manage and guide 15–20 team members to produce high-difficulty legal tasks and gold-standard solutions.
• Review and calibrate team outputs while owning day-to-day quality and consistency.
• Foster a collaborative team environment through active listening, clear communication, empathy, and constructive feedback.
• Empower team members through effective delegation, coaching, and support while managing challenges and conflicts professionally.
• Escalate genuine edge cases and rubric ambiguities to the Functional SME (Expert) Lead and lead with integrity, accountability, and sound judgment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 9-12 years of legal practice, preferably at Senior Associate, Counsel, or equivalent level.
• JD or equivalent legal qualification with active US bar admission.
• Strong expertise in contract drafting, legal analysis, and regulatory interpretation.
• Experience in reviewing, mentoring, managing, or quality-assuring legal work.
• Excellent communication, leadership, judgment, emotional intelligence, and interpersonal skills.
