Role Overview:

We are looking for Business Analysts with a keen eye for detail and strong analytical skills to join our team in reviewing and refining tax-related content. This is a unique opportunity to apply your finance and commerce background to support the development of high-quality datasets that enhance AI systems. You will work on evaluating tax-related questions and queries, ensuring accuracy and clarity based on structured guidelines. No advanced tax expertise is required — comprehensive training will be provided. If you enjoy structured analysis, consistency in judgment, and contributing to cutting-edge projects at the intersection of finance and technology, this role is for you.

What does day-to-day look like:

• Review and annotate tax-related queries for correctness, clarity, and alignment with guidelines.
• Identify and flag inconsistencies, ambiguities, or errors in content.
• Apply structured evaluation criteria to ensure consistent judgment across tasks.
• Collaborate with project leads to clarify unclear cases or edge scenarios.
• Maintain productivity and quality benchmarks in repetitive review tasks.
• Provide feedback and suggest improvements to annotation processes when necessary.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (preferred).
• Basic familiarity with common tax terms and concepts (e.g., income tax, deductions, filing).
• Strong attention to detail and consistency in judgment.
• Good reading comprehension and written communication skills.
• Comfortable with repetitive tasks and structured workflows.
• Prior experience in data annotation, content moderation, or chatbot review is a plus.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have:

• Exposure to tax compliance or accounting workflows.
• Familiarity with annotation platforms or AI training datasets.
• Experience reviewing or curating finance-related documentation.

Offer Details:

• Commitments Required: At least 4 hours per day and minimum 20 hours per week with overlap of 4 hours with PST. (We have 3 options of time commitment: 20 hrs/week, 30 hrs/week or 40 hrs/week)
• Engagement Type: Contractor assignment (no medical/paid leave)
• Duration of Contract: 1 week
