About Turing
Turing is one of the world’s fastest-growing AI companies, accelerating the advancement and deployment of powerful AI systems.
Turing helps customers in two ways: Working with the world’s leading AI labs to advance frontier model capabilities in thinking, reasoning, coding, agentic behavior, multimodality, multilinguality, STEM, and frontier knowledge; and leveraging that work to build real-world AI systems that solve mission-critical priorities for companies.
Role Overview
We are seeking Operations Management Experts to generate, evaluate, and refine tasks related to business operations for frontier AI initiatives. In this role, experts will build technically accurate, practical tasks that test AI model capabilities in process improvement, resource scheduling, workflow optimization, and performance management.
Requirements
- Professional Experience: ~3–8 years of hands-on experience in operations management, business operations, or a closely related field.
- Core Competencies: Demonstrated experience in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma), capacity planning, shift scheduling, bottleneck resolution, and operational performance tracking.
- Deliverable History: Proven track record of producing professional operational deliverables such as process maps, standard operating procedures (SOPs), resource schedules, and performance metric dashboards (KPIs/OKRs).
- Exceptional Analytical Thinking: Ability to evaluate complex business workflows, analyze operational data, identify inefficiencies, and map optimal resource allocations.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to review task scenarios and operational inputs to ensure practical realism, logical consistency, and technical accuracy.
- Communication: Excellent written communication skills for writing realistic corporate scenarios, operational prompts, and structured evaluation rubrics.
- Independence: Self-motivated and able to work independently, incorporate calibration feedback, and iterate under senior review.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be part of a specialized functional pod responsible for creating high-quality training and evaluation data for AI models. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Producing expert-level tasks and gold-standard solutions in process design, scheduling, and operational performance that meet the pod's quality bar.
- Authoring realistic task scenarios involving process optimization, shift/resource scheduling, workflow mapping, and performance evaluation.
- Applying rubric standards and grading frameworks set by the Functional SME (Expert) Lead.
- Working under senior review to incorporate calibration feedback, refine outputs, and iterate on task designs.
- Verifying that all created operational scenarios, logistics data, and business workflows are accurate, realistic, and solvable using standard operational frameworks.
- Ensuring consistent alignment with project guidelines, quality benchmarks, and milestone deadlines.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in any field.
- Experience in AI evaluation, data annotation, content review, quality assurance, or a related analytical role is preferred but not required.
