Role Overview
We’re looking for an experienced Product Manager / Product Lead who has truly owned products end-to-end—not just written specs, but made real decisions about what gets built, what gets cut, and why.
In this role, you’ll help shape realistic product environments and artifacts for an AI benchmark. This includes defining product contexts, team dynamics, and decision-making scenarios that mirror real-world product organizations. You’ll bring strong product judgment, data fluency, and a sharp eye for authenticity in how product work is communicated and executed.
What does day-to-day life look like?
You will spend your time operating at the intersection of product thinking, data, and storytelling:
- Define and simulate real-world product scenarios, including company stage, team structures, and product strategy tensions
- Create and review product artifacts such as PRDs, experiment briefs, emails, and Slack threads for realism and quality
- Evaluate whether product decisions and communication reflect how strong PMs actually operate
- Design and assess A/B experiments, including defining hypotheses, metrics, and success criteria
- Collaborate closely with data/analytics perspectives—interpreting experiment results and making informed shipping decisions
- Bring clarity to ambiguous product situations, especially where speed vs. rigor trade-offs exist
- Ensure product narratives reflect real-world challenges like prioritization conflicts, metric debates, and stakeholder alignment
Requirements
Core Experience
- 5+ years of Product Management experience in B2B SaaS or technology companies
- Proven ownership of a product roadmap with real prioritization decisions and trade-offs
- Hands-on experience running experiments and making ship/kill decisions based on data
- Strong collaboration experience with analytics or data science teams
Product & Data Skills
- Experience designing and running A/B tests end-to-end (not just reviewing results)
- Comfortable defining and debating product metrics (e.g., activation, engagement, retention)
- Ability to interpret imperfect data and still make sound product decisions
- Strong understanding of what good vs. poor product-data collaboration looks like
Tools & Collaboration
- Familiarity with tools such as Google Drive, Confluence, Jira, and Slack
- Strong written communication skills—able to produce clear, credible product artifacts
- Ability to distinguish high-quality product thinking from superficial or templated outputs
Perks of Freelancing With Turing
- Work in a fully remote environment.
- Opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI projects with leading LLM companies.
