About the role

We are developing a computer usage dataset to train intelligent systems that understand how users interact with software applications. The project involves recording your screen while performing detailed, multi-step tasks — such as configuring applications, exploring tools, or completing productivity workflows.

Each task may include 100+ individual interactions (clicks, keypresses, and other on-screen events). These recordings will be annotated and used for AI model development related to user behavior and workflow understanding.

Key Responsibilities

• Record your screen activity while completing assigned computer-based tasks.
• Carefully follow provided instructions and documentation to complete each task step-by-step.
• Ensure recordings are complete, high-quality, and interruption-free.
• Label or verify events (clicks, keystrokes, actions) when required.
• Maintain accuracy and consistency in documentation and file naming.
• Adhere to strict data privacy and confidentiality standards.

 Types of Tasks

Tasks will span multiple domains, including but not limited to:
You will support high quality multimedia production by creating, editing and optimizing audio or video assets. The role requires disciplined execution, clear communication and consistent delivery using your own system.

• Education & Productivity: using learning or organizational tools.
• Software & Development Environments: setting up or configuring tools (no coding required).
• Data & Analytics: working with dashboards or monitoring interfaces.
• Creativity: using design or visualization applications.
• General Use Cases: everyday workflows such as browsing, document management, or settings configuration.

 Requirements

• Computer with 16GB RAM and above
• OS: MAC, iOS, Windows
• Tools: Audacity, OBS Studio, Shotcut, HitFilm, OpenShot, Lightworks, Ardour
• Strong ability to follow step-by-step written documentation and execute tasks precisely.
• Comfort with using and navigating a wide range of computer applications.
• Basic technical literacy — able to install or configure software with provided instructions.
• Basic coding knowledge along with working knowledge of tools like visual studio, PyCharm etc.would be preferred
• Attention to detail and consistency when recording or annotating actions.
• Access to a reliable computer and stable internet connection.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to data-handling protocols.

 Preferred Skills

• Prior experience in data annotation, QA testing, or user research specially Audio video creation.
• Familiarity with productivity, design, or technical software environments.
• Good time management and self-organization in remote work settings.

Offer Details:

• Commitments Required: 40 hours per week with 4 hours of overlap with PST.
