Role Overview:
Turing is hiring a team of highly qualified Math and Python specialists to support a computation-intensive scientific coding project for a global client. This role requires strong mathematical foundations, hands-on experience with numerical methods, and the ability to translate complex mathematical concepts into clean, testable Python code.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement mathematical problems and algorithms for scientific computational tasks.
- Write efficient Python code using SciPy and related numerical libraries.
- Design and execute mathematical test cases to validate correctness and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members to refine requirements and ensure mathematical accuracy.
- Document methods, assumptions, and results clearly and professionally.
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, or a closely related field.
- Intermediate-level expertise in Python, with practical experience in scientific computing.
- Working knowledge of SciPy and numerical computation workflows.
- Demonstrated ability to create mathematical test cases in Python.
- Academic or practical experience with Numerical Approximation.
Good to have:
- Familiarity with Google Colab for collaborative coding.
- Ability to write and format mathematical content using LaTeX.
- Strong technical writing skills.
- Clear and effective communication in a remote environment.

Offer Details:
- Commitments Required : At least 4 hours per day and minimum 20 hours per week with overlap of 4 hours with PST. (We have 3 options of time commitment: 20 hrs/week, 30 hrs/week or 40 hrs/week)
